Elkaid Trade operates trade.elkaid.com, a B2B trade coordination platform facilitating direct-mill sourcing of civil construction materials from India to Australia and New Zealand. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled.
1 Information We Collect
We only collect information you voluntarily submit through our RFQ (Request for Quote) portal. This includes:
- Company or organisation name
- Contact person name
- Business email address
- Business phone number
- Destination country and delivery postcode
- Project details, product category, and container volume requirements
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics scripts that collect personal data. We do not collect any information passively from site visitors who do not submit a form.
2 How We Use Your Information
Information submitted through the RFQ portal is used solely to:
- Generate an indicative sourcing estimate and RFQ reference number
- Follow up with a formal contract draft or supply corridor proposal
- Coordinate customs, freight, and compliance documentation relevant to your project
We do not use submitted information for marketing, advertising, or any purpose beyond responding to your specific trade inquiry.
3 Data Storage
RFQ submissions are recorded in a secure Google Workspace spreadsheet accessible only to Elkaid Trade coordination staff. Google's infrastructure and data handling practices apply to this storage. No RFQ data is stored on shared servers or third-party platforms beyond Google Workspace.
4 Disclosure to Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties. The only exception is where legally required by an Australian, New Zealand, or Indian regulatory authority in the course of a lawful trade compliance or customs matter.
5 Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of any information we hold about you or your company
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your submitted RFQ data

6 Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if our data handling practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any revisions. Continued use of the RFQ portal after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
